Sundown Bio

Sundown first got together in College Station in the mid 1980’s. The band consisted of Ricky Ford & Tim Williams. They were soon joined by Richard Kreihn, Terry Downing, and Chuck Thorpe. After college they all moved on to pursue careers and are living all over the United States. Two of the band’s members have made music their career. Richard has played for Aaron Tippin and Michael Peterson. He wrapped up his traveling career playing mandolin & fiddle for Travis Tritt. He now teaches music at the University of Washington. Terry is a studio musician & songwriter in Nashville. For the past several years they’ve gotten together for a yearly reunion. Somehow they always seem to pick up right where they left off. These guys "just fit". You won’t want to miss it!
